Apartment moves are access moves
The furniture in most apartments fits on one truck. What decides how long the move takes is everything between the truck and your door: the parking lot, the gate, the stairs or elevator, the hallway and the doorway. We plan around those details from the first call.
Walk-ups and stairs
Third-floor walk-ups are routine for an experienced crew. We protect railings and landings, take heavy pieces apart when that's safer, and carry rather than drag. Tell us the floor and whether the stairs have tight turns.
Elevators and loading areas
Many Austin apartment and condo buildings require you to reserve the elevator or loading dock for a set window, and some ask for a certificate of insurance from the mover before move day. Get the rules from the leasing office in writing and share them with us when you book.
Moving out without losing your deposit
- Ask for floor and doorway protection in shared hallways
- Photograph each room once it's empty
- Return keys, gate remotes and parking tags the way your lease requires
- Leave time for a final clean before the walkthrough
Apartment to house, or house to apartment
