Moving labor

Loading and unloading help from people who do it every day.

Renting your own truck or using a moving container? Our crew loads it tight, pads it right and unloads it safely at the other end.

Why loading matters more than driving

Most damage in a do-it-yourself move happens inside the truck: furniture shifts, boxes crush and unpadded pieces rub together on the highway. A well-loaded truck uses every inch, keeps heavy items low and locks the load in place.

Rental trucks and moving containers

Whether it's a rental truck or a portable container, the job is the same: heavy and square items first, tall pieces tied off, boxes stacked by weight and every gap filled. Tell us the size of the truck or container so we bring the right crew.

Unloading at the other end

We can unload and place furniture and boxes in the right rooms, and reassemble pieces we took apart.

Before the crew arrives

  • Have the truck or container parked as close to the door as possible
  • Pack and seal boxes, and label them by room
  • Have pads, straps and a dolly in the truck if the rental includes them

Common questions

Moving labor questions

Can you load a truck or container I rented?

Yes. Tell us the size and where it will be parked, and we'll plan the crew.

Do you unload at the destination too?

Yes, if the destination is within our service area. Let us know both locations when you book.

Who drives the truck?

With labor-only help, you drive your rental. For a move where we handle the transport too, see our full-service moves.
